On October 9th, an open sport event was held in The Renaissance Park within the project Tae-SHS – Taekwondo for a more sustainable and healthier society. During the event, the organizers of the event shared with the audience highlights of the theme of healthy lifestyle and climate change and gave their own guidance on how each of us (young or adult) can contribute to the fight against global warming. Green passes were distributed as part of the event, which aims to encourage members of the public to train taekwondo.
The Tae-SHS project is based on the idea that sport is a powerful tool to convey ideas and messages to the general public and encourage active behaviour. Taekwondo fitness NSA, together with SBA and Bursa Olympic sport club, aim to contribute to the common efforts in the global challenge by turning the taekwondo into a role model of sport with particular concern and commitment to climate change. The project is funded under the Erasmus programme of the European Union.
