As of June 2022, a new project HuntingChange – Hunting sport and climate – inspiring behavioural change towards more sustainable and healthier lifestyle among young people through educational and active game has started under the coordination of the Sustainable Balkans Association. A partnership uniting three organisations from Bulgaria and Austria are responsible for the implementation of the project activities – SBA, AHAT-M sport club and Sportverein Body-Lounge.
The project main goal is to develop and pilot an educational game that combines sport and modern technology into an innovative approach for awareness raising on environmental and climate change challenges and encouragement of participation in sport and healthier lifestyle.
The project also envisages the conduct of two national sport events in each of the partners’ countries and one virtual international event for coaches and trainers outside the partnership.
HuntingChange hunts the behavioral change in its target groups in being more responsible towards resources consumption, energy use and waste, carbon footprint emissions; behavior that opts for sustainable food and mobility choices.
The project is funded under the Erasmus + programme of the European Commission.
